Admitting part of a creditors claim

5.    Double-click Unsecured Creditors.

6.    Double-click 'Attinger Jack Interactive Limited'.

You will recall that this creditor was claiming an additional sum over and above the statement of affairs figure.

7.    Click the Proof of Debt tab and enter the following details:

Field

Value

Total Admitted: Unsecured

2937.50

Total Rejected: Unsecured

587.50

Reasons for rejection

Invoice raised for services dated after the relevant date and therefore not an admissible claim.

Note

The Total Rejected value should automatically populate with the Total Claimed less the Total Admitted value.

The Reasons for Rejection will be dependent on the circumstances of the particular claim.

You may of course reject the claim in full by entering the admitted amount as "0.00" and the rejected amount as the proof claim (in the above example, 3500.00).
