    Note

The Official Title is generally shown on the top of the Bankruptcy Order and more properly describes the debtor, previous names and addresses, known aliases and occupation.

    Note

You may also add a note to the appointment record, as well as recording whether an LPA, Court-appointed or fixed charge Receiver has been appointed by the fixed charge holder, and whether the fixed charge has been satisfied.

In this example, we will not be entering any information into these fields.

Your screen should resemble that shown below:

    Click [OK] to continue.

    15.    The following screen confirming the appointment details is shown:

    Note

The Start Date has been automatically added from the date entered into the Date of Appointment field above.  If this is incorrect, you may wish to amend it.

    Note

Depending on the number if appointees, the Appointee’s table may be pre-populated with a sole appointee.

To add another appointee, click [Add]:

    File:test/insolvency/200_18+Personal+Insolvency/020_Adding+a+Job/Personal16.png

    16.    The following screen is shown next:

    File:test/insolvency/200_18+Personal+Insolvency/020_Adding+a+Job/Personal17.png

This allows for values to be entered against the Personal Information items held in the Estate Info tab.

    Note

The fields shown and whether they are required (shown in red) preferred (green), optional (black) or not shown at all, is dependent on settings for these fields in Manage Static Data, which should be set by the practice’s system administrator.

Fields can also be added ‘on the fly’ by clicking the [Add] button.

Once you have completed the fields shown, click [Next] to continue.

    17.    The job addresses screen is shown next:

    File:test/insolvency/200_18+Personal+Insolvency/020_Adding+a+Job/Personal18.png

The job’s address is used as the postage address for the Company.  It is used for invoices and is not necessarily the Practice’s Address.  The Practice Addresses and Numbers will default.

    Click [Next].

    18.    This screen allows for a Redundancy Payments Office to be added as a creditor.  If it is expected that an employee or employees will be entered onto the system later, an RPO creditor entry will also be added.

    File:test/insolvency/200_18+Personal+Insolvency/020_Adding+a+Job/Personal19.png

If the debtor had no employees, or it is not known whether the debtor had employees or if they will make claims against the insolvent estate, this option can be ignored.

    Click [Next] to continue.

    19.    The next step enables a chart of accounts to be selected for the job (if there is more than one chart of accounts available for that job type).

    File:test/insolvency/200_18+Personal+Insolvency/020_Adding+a+Job/Personal20.png

Click [Next] to select the default chart of accounts or select a different chart of accounts and click [Next] to continue.

    File:test/insolvency/200_18+Personal+Insolvency/020_Adding+a+Job/Personal21.png

    20.    All steps are complete.  Please click [Finish] to finalise the wizard.
