Time Period

 Displays the date range for the timesheet.

TimeUnit

It displays a drop-down list of the base time units or intervals available for you to show how much time you have worked.

You use the TimeUnit (intervals) when you enter the number of Units in the Timesheet Daily Time Entry window. For example, if you choose a TimeUnit of 15 minutes in this field and you have worked 1 hour, then in the Units field in the Timesheet Daily Time Entry window you enter 4 to equal that hour.

Entry Status

Displays the current status of the timesheet, either 'Draft' or 'Submitted. You can change this status using the Draft  and Submit  buttons.

Add

 Creates a new Timesheet entry and opens the Timesheet Daily Time Entry window where details of the entry are completed.

Edit

 Opens the Timesheet Daily Time Entry window so that you can modify an existing entry.

Delete

 Displays a delete line confirmation window. Clicking the Yes button will remove the selected entry from the Timesheet.

Cancel

Closes the Timesheet without saving any details you may have entered.

Date

Displays the Date you entered the time for.  It is populated from the Timesheet Daily Time Entry where you enter details about the time you have worked.

Client

Displays the Client name. It is populated from the Timesheet Daily Time Entry where you enter details about the time you have worked.

Assignment

Displays the Assignment name. It is populated from the Timesheet Daily Time Entry where you enter details about the time you have worked.

Schedule

Displays the Schedule if the Assignment as a schedule of tasks attached to it,  It is populated from the Timesheet Daily Time Entry where you enter details about the time you have worked.

Task

Displays the Task. It is populated from the Timesheet Daily Time Entry where you enter details about the time you have worked.

Charge

Displays the sum of the amount being charged for the time you have worked. It is populated from the results of the system multiplying the TimeUnits by the Unit amount you entered in the Timesheet Daily Time Entry window.

Time

Displays the number of time Units. It is populated from the number of Units you entered in the Timesheet Daily Time Entry window.

O/Time

Displays the number of entered time units that have an overtime rate applied to them.

Target hours

Displays the budgeted chargeable hours for  a day

N/chrg Time

Displays the non-chargeable time entered in the Timesheet

Chg %

Displays the chargeable percentage of the total hours for a day

Chrg Time

Displays the total number of time units entered into the timesheet.

Authorization Status

Displays the current state of the Timesheet as a result of clicking the Draft  and Submit  buttons. the field displays Unseen, Authorised, Unauthorised or Held Up. The name of the employee who last created the state of the bill is displayed next to this status.  

Posting

Once posted, this area displays the name of the employee who posted the Timesheet and the posting date.

Required

If a minimum number of hours are enforced (either per day or per week), this field will display the total hours that must be entered before the timesheet can be posted successfully. An error will display if you try to submit post a sheet which does not meet the minimum number of hours required for the selected employee. The timesheet hours need to be amended to match the required number of hours. The timesheet can then be resubmitted, authorised and posted. This setting is configured by your system Administrator at employee level.
