Last modified 07:53, 24 Apr 2017

Overview

Once a counterparty has been added to the job, the next step is to add a contact and link that contact to the counterparty.

Adding a contact

Danny Davis is the contact for “Your Name Solicitor” counterparty and you need to add him as a contact.

1.    Open the Counterparty you wish to add a Contact to.  In this case, open “Mishcon de Reya”.

2.    Click on Contacts then click [Add].  From this screen you may search for contacts already in the system.  In this case, there are no contacts for Mishcon de Reya in the system, so we need to add the relevant details.

Tip

The details stored in Numbers will override any details in the Counterparty when addressing documents to this contact.  Any details not entered in the Contacts will default back to the Counterparty’s details.  Also, if the Contact has a particular floor they work on, or a section within the Counterparty, you can click File:test/insolvency/030_1+Jobs/120_Adding+a+Contact+to+a+Counterparty/AddCont4.png to add those details without affecting the Counterparty’s general address.
