Overview

Filters are available in the Global Document Centre to enable you to quickly locate documents within a specific library and/or of a specific document type. The filters can be used individually or together.

In addition there are filters available in all Document Centres which enable you to show only documents that have been published to the portal, or to include documents that have been deleted or archived.

Filter by Library

This option allows you to select a specific library to search. You can use the filter on its own to find all documents in a particular library, or in conjunction with the basic search and/or the document type filter.

If you select a library using this filter and then click on Advanced Search, the library will be carried into the Advanced Search as preset criteria.

Filter by Document Type

This option allows you to search for a specific document type. It can be used on its own to find all documents of a specific type, or in conjunction with the basic search and/or the library filter.

If you select a document type using this filter and then click on Advanced Search, the document type will be carried into the Advanced Search as preset criteria.

Only Published Documents

Ticking the Only Published Documents checkbox at the bottom of the window will filter the view to only show documents that have been published to the Portal.

Show Deleted/Archived Documents

Ticking the Show Deleted/Archived Documents will include these in the search results being displayed.
