Editing an Existing Account

Overview

You can Edit any Nominal Code within an accounting period which then shows as a Local Account. Local accounts are identified by this grid_icon.png icon, which appears in the Local column.

Edit an existing account

  1. Locate the account that you want to modify.
    Under Actions on the Task Bar you can use the Search Code or Description field to locate the account. 
    As you make an entry in the search field, the system filters the contents of the grid to display the result.
  2. Simply click in the column cell containing the data that you want to edit.
  3. Change the data as required and then press [Enter], or click away from the cell to commit the change to the database.
    The grid_icon.png icon appears in the Local column to indicate that the account has been modified for the client.
